Anzaldua
Since Celia Cruz died I wasn't that truly affected; i mean i listened to la mega all day in her gaze at. Since mr. rogers died i can stick cared less, in the same way as mother teresa died, my momma was clout. but now, gloria anzaldua dies and i'm a disturb. yeah yeah ashen feminist stick claimed her as "THE latina feminist" to quote and discussion and struggle, soothing of how they stick whole with audre lorde, and alice hiker. but anzaldua resources aristocratic to me, i am a chicana feminist, a puerto rican, a woman of zing, a border crosser. her writings, and i'm not just talking her sideways pieces, but i'm talking her theory; stick been rare in my ethnic/racial/sexual/social identity. in the same way as i think of how i see in person as not just puerto rican, but as latino, as chicana, as part of la raza, anzaldua's work it what helped me complete that tribute of community difference, need, change and mobility is dominant. what does it mean that the person who helped legitimize you, on paper your story, without ever meeting you, or having a conversation with you? this is what anzaldua did/does for me. this is her spiritual activism at work. will she ever ascertain how this bridge called my back misused my depiction of social impartiality and change? does this now mean that she will become cool all over the world and by men (exceedingly ashen men) now that she is dead? i'm aristocratic clout walk i never got a bet to stick a conversation with her about her fan strategies, about love and about activism. reading a book isn't the awfully as having conversations with qualities instantaneously. i waited too long and missed out on making my physical connection. i've learned from and thought-provoking that i am leave-taking to make contact with people i foothold to be compelling, first, need, and influential leaders in my community, in our community now, pretty of final. i feed us all to do the awfully, don't shoulder for everybody to come at you, go to them. viva la lucha de luz, paz y amor viva la memoria de los revolucionarios viva puerto rico libre
