A 2012 study published in the "Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research" discovered that men gave significantly higher tips to waitresses in red. The hot hue is a huge attention-grabber. Plus, thanks to its association with strength and power, it can make people think you're a lot more confident than you really are.
