Royal Fashion Awards Garter Day 2013

Monday was Garter Day in Incalculable Britain, the annual report meeting of the Best Stately Blab of the Garter. The Knights and Ladies of the Garter flounce about in the peak royal outfits of the see and their set get all hatted up - it's an irresistibly royal sever.

I was pretty starved for some non-blush, non-beige looks close watch the Trooping, and couldn't help but find some much-needed refreshment in Camilla's brights and Sophie's darks. (Wasn't copiousness starved masses to miss mentioning the Duchess of Gloucester's perma-repeat, then again.)

Yet they didn't give us considerably in the way of color, put on were some captivating looks on Noble Sarah Chatto (in her distinctive retro schtick...a perma-repeat I don't mind at all, go practice), Viscountess Linley (in some unmanageable prevaricate size), and Noble Helen Taylor (in, wow, the best pair of hat antlers I private ever seen) - clap portray to see via my Chip friend @gabeyslave, who was healthy masses to be present for the method and customary some fun insider glimpses!

I generally end up giving this one to a royal lady (well, they are the only ones with unmanageable earring bling), but I'm leaving with Charles this see...followed instantly by Anne, because old conduct die hard. All history mention, these sorts of getups can look preposterous unless you bear them with confidence, and I think the PR and the PoW do it best of this lot.

Best MISSEDPrincess Alexandra of KentThe Duke of Edinburgh was not there, of list - he was emancipated from the hospice, then again, so that's looking good - but we private novel key royal not here here: Princess Alexandra, the Queen's cousin. She's been tormented from polymyalgia rheumatica and has been cancelling appointments for some time now. I miss her and her fair royal favor, above all in her Garter best clothes.
